Message from the Doctor

Nice to meet you.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Omiya community and am pleased to announce the opening of Kato Kids Clinic in May 2024.

After graduating from university, I have had the privilege of caring for many children in a variety of medical settings, including university hospitals, municipal hospitals, and local clinics.
In recent years, I have taken a special interest in changes in the cranial shape of newborns and infants, an issue I have observed in daily practice. At a university hospital, I have been providing specialized outpatient care for "head shape" concerns while also conducting research in this field.

Through these experiences, I have learned that paying close attention to even the smallest changes with sincerity can make a meaningful difference—not only for the children we care for today but also for future generations.
To continue building on this knowledge, I will remain involved in both clinical practice and research at the university hospital.

Our clinic is dedicated to providing general pediatric care, growth and development support, parenting consultations, and specialized services for infant cranial shape concerns, drawing on our ongoing experience and knowledge.
As a healthcare provider, I strive to create a place where children and their families in the community can smile and feel at ease.
